The manufacturing process of PUF roofing panels begins with the preparation of pre-treated steel or aluminum sheets and the formulation of rigid polyurethane foam (PUF). The metal sheets are shaped into the desired roofing profile using a roll-forming machine, then cleaned and primed to ensure optimal adhesion. The polyurethane components are mixed and injected between the metal sheets in either a continuous or discontinuous process, where the foam expands and cures, bonding firmly to the sheets. After curing, the panels are trimmed and cut to precise sizes and undergo quality control tests to ensure correct dimensions, strong adhesion, and excellent thermal and structural performance. The panels then receive surface finishes, such as additional paint or protective coatings, and are subjected to a final inspection.
